Mike Anchondo

You probably don't know who Mike Anchondo is. Don't worry - we do.

Jim and I play a lot of video games. Now, put aside the fact that we are grown-ass men and that we still scream like little girls a lot of the time when we are playing them. Focus on the fact that we play video games...a lot of them.

We played Fight Night 2004 in college. It's a pretty good boxing game. Now, by far the best part of the game is the slow motion replays where the boxer's legs get wobbly and they fall on their faces. Jim was never very good at Fight Night (I had played more and am generally much much better at video games) so I would let him be the G.O.A.T - Muhammad Ali - and I would be a Featherweight - Mike Anchondo. Let's just say that Mike Anchondo got a few shots in on the Greatest but he always ended up hitting the mat. And he hit the mat pretty hard. At some point we'll get a video up of video game Mike Anchondo falling down...

Anyway, since a lot of you say that you have no idea what we are saying most of the time, this should be a pretty useful post. Ever since playing Fight Night, we have referred to someone falling flat on their face as an "Anchondo." For example, "We are going to go to Joe's and Waverly until we Anchondo on the street."

Now, ladies and gentlemen, we present you with the perfect Anchondo.
(Keep your volume up when you watch the clip)

So for everyone that told us that we had sold out and become to "artsy" with our creative interpretation of 24 - "Respect the King"
