NBA'S FIRST TEAM ALL-FLOP

I'm with Chris Sheridan; the fact Rip Hamilton wasn't called for a foul is flat-out atrocious. But I will man up and say part of the blame goes on Anderson "Sideshow Bob" Varejao for flopping like a fish out of water the play before and desensitizing the refs.

I hate to admit it, but Varejao is on pace to become one of the biggest floppers in NBA history. Pretty ironic considering he was also labeled dirty in the last FIBA World Championships for rearranging a Greek player's face.

In honor of Anderson, we have decided to compile the first annual NBA All-Flop team.

PG: Devin Harris

A very under-the-radar flopper because we don't like to think one of our own could perfect this art form. I think you can actually see Harris crying on the floor is this clip. Pathetic.

SG: Manu Ginobili

Have we mentioned that we hate the Spurs? Granted, Ginobili hasn't been as bad in this year's playoffs. But it's only a matter of time. Sadly there is no video of him flopping because of an NBA conspiracy to wipe YouTube clean of such evidence.

SG: Raja Bell

Just to make sure we get the calls, we are going with the smaller lineup and playing two shooting guards. Raja's bark is definitely bigger than his bite. Although we have to admit flopping on Ginobili is nothing to be ashamed of.

PF: Anderson Varejao

Varejeo has spent half of the Eastern Conference Finals on the floor and is even getting called out by Steve Kerr. As the Pistons have already mailed in the next two games, we wouldn't be surprised if Rasheed punches him in the face in Game 3.

C: Andrew Bogut

They don't call him "Ball Don't Lie Bogut" for nothing, folks. Unfortunately, no amount of flopping will fool fans into thinking he isn't one himself.

Hall of Fame: Vlade Divac, Reggie Miller and his leg kick, Dennis Rodman

I would agree with Marv Alberts and Kenny Anderson on the Rip Hamilton defense on Lebron. Rip had his arms straight up and 'Bron 'Bron just awkardly jumped into him expecting a whistle. If Lebron had just collected himself he could have just raised up and shot right over Rip.

As for the flopper list it is quite good. I would also like to nominate Jason Kidd for this list. Agains the Celtics in the '02 Eastern Conference finals, his main method of defense was to slide over and fall back 15 ft at the first whiff of contact.

a Flopper Hall of Fame that doesn't have Bill Laimbeer's name on it?

How can you not have Dwayne Wade in there? The guy flops on jump shots (or he would be if they were still playing). Also, I think Derek Fisher needs to be an honorary player/coach/hall of fame member. He was worse than anyone on this list when he played for the Lakers.

How about one of the originators, Bill Laimbeer?

Its college ball, put Paul Harris on Syracuse...Hillarity

What about Oberto? There was a play in the second round where Barbosa was bringing the ball up court and the Spurs had the full court press on. Well, it looked like a full court press, instead it was Oberto flopping in attempt to get a call and then Ginobili flopoing in attempt to get a call - ON THE SAME PLAY! What's better both flops took place in the backcourt, so the Suns ended up with a 5 on 3 fast break.

I agree with 4 out of the 5 on this list. I would swap Ginobili for Monta Ellis. Check it out, 82 Games tracked the charge taken the past two seasons, and Ginobili is not even in the top 25.

(Fun post by the way)

Note that not a single one of these players is European, idiot.

You absolutely have to have Dwyane Wade on this list. Every time he has the ball it's like he just closes his eyes and runs out of control at the basket, waits until someone barely touches him, then blindly throws the ball near the rim and falls down and begins to cry, much like he did when he needed the wheelchair for his shoulder.

It truly is ruining the game - almost to the point of me not watching anymore. Referees should watch tapes and issue penalties or fines to floppers.....maybe they'd have to sit a quarter or a half of the next game.

i dont want to disrespect any of the european players, but seriously. dont bring that flopping bullshit here to the states. we dont play like that here. It really is ruining the game. People like Verajeo, he just looks stupid. like...why are you doing that?

Manu Ginobili is a very fine player, but sometimes he does not find himself and he is like lost during the game

I haѵe been suгfing onlinе more than 2 hοurs today,
