Remember people making a big deal about the NCAA rule banning Native American mascots from postseason play? Well, that basically went away, except for one school:
THE SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA STATE SAVAGES!!!!
The team sold out and changed its name to the "Savage Storm" in January. After a logo that looked like a grizzlier Chief Wahoo, the school is working on a new logo - hopefully they don't jack St. John's logo like they jacked their name transformation.
How fitting....
