Is Alex Legion The Devil?

We were pretty pissed when one of the top basketball recruits in the nation, DCD's Alex Legion, decommitted from Michigan's '07 class. But then the Daily's Gabe Edelson pointed out that Legion is actually the devil...

As you probably know, Legion is going to the infamous Oak Hill Academy next year. Check out this article from the Detroit News for the reason why.

Sounds like the reincarnation of Seton Hall's Eddie Griffin, who punched his teammate, Ty Shine, in the face.

Keep in mind that Kurt Keener has coached two NBA players, Chris Webber and "Sugar" Shane Battier.

Before this article, we didn't even realize a high school senior could be "disgrunted".....

"No, it's not fun," he said.

"If you didn't know much about Country Day and you came to watch us play you wouldn't know I was their best player.

"I don't think I should come down and shoot every trip down the court. But the offense should go through me where I could get everyone like Darnell (Brown, a sophomore guard) and Charles into position where they could get open looks.

"I am disgruntled. I do believe it can be solved. It's up to the person in charge. It will affect our tournament run. The districts and regionals will be somewhat easy for us but when we play a good team like (Detroit) Renaissance who have a player like Tajuan Porter who create shots for himself, we'll have trouble with them.

"I don't think we can beat Renaissance. We should beat Renaissance on paper. Our team continuity isn't there. We've had team meetings. Coach Keener took a day and redefined players' roles."

Infected with D'evils?

FYI - Gabe stole this analogy from my yet-to-be publish column about Amaker.

Not real.
